Pathways Advocacy

In compliance with statutory regulations in B&P Code Section 6401(c), Pathways Advocacy provides assistance to its clients, low income individuals. We provide labor rights advocacy and broad-based educational outreach.

ESLP works closely with community-based organizations, federal and state agencies, law firms, and Organized Labor to assure that clients are effectively served on all other social, economic, and labor issues.

Social and Advocacy Services:

  • Advocacy for denied Wages and other Earned Benefits through state administrative and judicial proceedings. We don't provide legal advice or practice law.;
  • Referral Services to Labor Law Firms for all other legal issues that place low income families at risk, including:

 - Injury Cases in the Workplace (Workers Comp.), medical care and benefits;

 - All other Injury Cases suffered by Workers and Non-Workers alike;

 - Discrimination, Harassment, and Wrongful Termination (Race, Sex, Age, Pregnancy, Language);

 - Unfair Labor Practices;

 - Immigration Law related to Employment and Labor.

Pathways Advocacy’s services are offered without regard to a person’s citizenship status or religious affiliation. All of our services are provided free of charge. ESLP provides free services to clients who have a foreclosure related issue and whose income is below four hundred percent of the federal poverty guidelines.   Services are available in Spanish, Burmese, Chantonese, Farsi, and Turkish.
